As the Country Director of NMAV since 2015, it has been exciting for me  to lead our work on climate change resilience, inclusion of people with disabilities, microfinance and job creation. It is a great privileges to work with dedicated colleagues, competent partners, local authorities and other NGOs in Vietnam.

My background is mostly from the NGO sector. I have been working for Norwegian YMCA-YWCA for several years and also a couple of years at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. Before moving to Vietnam I worked as a Marketing and Communication Director for CARE Norway. I have an Executive Master of Management from BI – Norwegian Business School.

I enjoy the freedom of driving the motorbike to work every day together with everyone else in Ho Chi Minh.  A personal challenge for me has been to learn Vietnamese. It is one of the most difficult languages in the world, so I still have a way to go.  Cố lên!
