For the period of 2015-2020, our theme is about Climate change resilience in Mekong Delta. As a project leader, my main responsibility is about Education component in Tien Giang and Tra Vinh province which aims to raise awareness for the students, teachers on climate change, inclusion and gender.
In fact, Mekong is one of the most fertile areas in Vietnam but it is also affected a lot by climate change. This makes me realize that my job is very neccessary to train for the teachers and students to have knowledge on climate change, how to response to natural disaster and create an inclusive envoronment for all children in order to support for the community to deal with the environmental issues.
I have worked for NMA in Vietnam since 2010 and I think that I am very lucky to work for the organization. This place helps me to improve my values such as transperancy, simplicity, democracy, and compassion. As being fond of working on education, I have through working on education for Community Development projects before and Climate change resilience now. To me, it is really happy to work and see the changes in future generation of where I have work for.
Apart from Education, I am also in charge of Child Representative Program in Vietnam and support the component on capacity building for women in Tra Vinh.
